1.Q. Where are you located?
A.
We are located at Shop 8 Corner Tallow Wood and Melaleuca Street Kuluin. Kuluin is a suburb next to Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. We are located next to GymbaROO Early learning centre and The Hungry Gekko Cafe which makes fantastic tea and coffee!

2.Q. What do you do?
A.
We have fun plaster, paper mache and wood craft painting. We also do face painting, host birthday parties, after school craft classes, host mothers groups functions, corporate functions, special events and so much more. Where ever there is kids we can cater!

3.Q. How does it work?
A. You are more than welcome to visit us any time, you will however need to book in to ensure a seat is available and we do not have any other events happening on that day.
When you arrive you will see an assortment of crafts to choose from, we have plaster, paper mache and wood.
All of our crafts range from as little as $4.95 all inclusive.
We have a rainbow of paint colours to use along with plenty of paint brushes.
Once you have finished painting we dry them off, put our gloss, glitter and special touches to your craft then its ready to go!  Simple as that......

As we can be very busy, especially on the weekend and school holidays a booking must be placed, this will ensure you a seat and no waiting time.
If you have a group we require you to make a booking at least 2 days in advance.
This will still not
guarantee you a space so the earlier you can book the better!

 

4.Q. Does Craftmania take photos of any of the activities?
A.
Yes we take photos at Birthday Parties, Craft Classes, Our events and more.
We get permission from the children and the parents (if they are there) if we can take there photo.
 

If you do not want your photo used in any of our publications or on our website please call us and we will delete that photo.

5.Q. What kind of payments do you accept?
A.
CASH, DEBIT CARD, CREDIT CARD (VISA AND MASTER CARD ONLY) 

CHEQUE & DIRECT DEBIT(For PARTY'S only)

6.Q. Where do you travel to for corporate functions, special events & mobile parties?
A.
We operate Sunshine Coast Wide. We class the Sunshine Coast as Caloundra to Noosa and as far out as Nambour.

7.Q. What if I'm outside of this area?
A. We may still be able to cater for you, it just depends on how far we have to travel. Feel free to call us and see if we can help.

8.Q. How much does it cost?
A.
It depends on the service you are after, our craft items start at $5 in store, if you are looking for a birthday party please see our Birthday party page.
If you would like Craftmania to come to your corporate function we can arrange all types of fun things for kids to do.
Please see our Corporate Functions page or call us to talk about the options available.
We also have Gift Packs for all your crafty needs!

9.Q.  What times are you available?
A. We are available 24/7. We open our store for bookings only, you don't need to be in a group of have a minimum amount of people. We can open for 1 or 100 guests.

All you need to do is give us a call and see if we are available.

For group events please call us at least 2 days in advance to ensure enough seating is available.

As we host our crafts at many different locations making a booking to come visit is essential.


 
10.Q. Do you have minimum  amount of guests for a birthday party?
A. Yes, Minimum is 7 for All of our craft  Parties. If you don't have 7 guests we can still host a party but you will have to pay for the minimum.
Face Painting Parties are different they go by the hour. We can do up to 10 -15 faces per hour. This is a guide only.
Corporate event are different. Please contact us for more information.

11.Q. Do you do corporate functions?
 
A. Yes, we can come to any business event and provide a range for FUN activities for kids to do. We cater for all needs and budgets and can arrange different packages to suit.
 

12.Q. What is your cancellation policy if we have to cancel our booked event?
A.

FOR ALL BOOKINGS

For all bookings we require a $80 deposit to secure your time and date booked.                                                      
This $80 deposit ensures that no other booking can be made for your booked  time.

 

If you cancel your event with 7 to 28 days of your booked date we will keep the $80 deposit paid to cover losses in business. This is because we most probably have had to decline other people wanting that date and time and have had to either try and make alternative arrangements for them or had to decline them completely.

FOR MOBILE EVENTS OR PARTIES:
We accept no responsibility if your event must be cancelled due to acts of nature eg. rain, storms, or floods or if there is any sickness, injury, guests cant make it or anything of that nature.
All deposits will be kept if your event is cancelled within 7 to 28 days of your booked date.
Under no circumstances will we give you a refund if your event is cancelled due to this. We can however come to an alternative address if given at least 1 hours noticed before your booked time.

13.Q. Do you have a blue card?
A.
Yes, all team members are blue card accredited through the commission for children & young people and child guardian QLD.

14.Q. What Paints do you use?
A. For our craft painting we use:

* Cromacryl

* Radical Paint

* Educational colours

These paints are non toxic, water based student acrylics, for more information visit there websites.

For our face painting we use:

 

* Derivan Face and Body Paint

* Time Gratton Face and Body Paint.

* Kryolan Face Paints

The face paints are cosmetic based and suitable for most skin types.

Tim Gratton's Face and Body Paint & Derivan Face and Body Paints have been formulated as a safe,

non-toxic paint which conforms to Australian and European Community cosmetic regulations and Australian Standard 1647.3.

 


15.Q. I have a skin Condition should i get my face painted?
A. You will need to ask a health care professional if you you can have your face painted.
'Bec's Craftmania' will not be held responsible for any adverse reactions that are caused
as a result of having your face painted by us.

16.Q. I may have an allergic reaction, should I still have my face painted?
A.  You will need to ask a health care professional if you you can have your face painted.
'Bec's Craftmania' will not be held responsible for any adverse reactions that are caused
as a result of having your face painted by us,.

17.Q. How do I remove the face paint?
A. The face paint will wash off with soap and water. Avoid getting the face paint on
clothing as even though it will not stain the skin, it may stain some fabrics.

18.Q. I have a cold/flu can i get my face painted?
A. No, As colds/flu are known to be contagious it would be irresponsible of us to paint anyone with visible signs of a cold/ flu.

19.Q. I have a cold sore should i get my face painted?
A. As cold sores are known to be contagious we will not paint that area.

20.Q. Is there an alternative to getting my face painted?
A. Yes, We can paint legs, arms, back etc.
In the case of eczema we can paint any area that is not affected by the condition.

21.Q. What if i get paint on my clothes?
A. With the thumb and forefinger of each hand slowly work the stain in a rolling action thereby releasing the paint and colour into the soapy water. Change the water as necessary and repeat washing action. DO NOT USE HOT WATER. Some stubborn stains may need to be soaked overnight. Derivan Face & Body Paint is formulated so that it will swell up and release when submerged in soapy water.
Other methods of cleaning will generally only act to drive the stain in deeper. Donot boil, dry-clean or use chemical solvents or thinners. Do not iron over a stain. Do not machine wash. Keep stained garments separate from other washing.

22.Q. Do you do gift packs?
A.
Yes, we have over 1,000 different products to choose from.

23.Q. Does Bec’s Craftmania have a minimum order?
A. No, you can order as much or as little as you like.

24.Q.Do you always have your products in stock?
A. Not all of them, We do however have a well stocked shop with a large range of the most popular items which are ready to take home now. But every order is unique and we make to order.                                                                                    
If you would like an item that is not in stock you must allow at least 5 to 10 working days for your order to be ready (this doesn't include postage times).
 
For really large orders this time frame may be longer.

25.Q.Why does it take 5 to 10 days to get my order/ how does it work?
A. Every order is different so we must allow this amount of time as we have many process that go into making the items you request.
This give's you a general idea of how it works:
* You place the order and we receive it.
* We have to wait for cleared payments for the order to be started.
* We layout the moulds that will create the items you have requested.
* We have to pour them, let them harden, remove them then let them dry.
* Drying can take up to 10 days depending on the size of the piece.
* Then we ship it out.

Times vary for every order, some may receive there order within a couple of days of placing it where others may have to wait longer if it is a bulk order or large items.
 

26.Q. I want to by your products in bulk, do you give a discount?
A.
Yes, in our product catalouge you will notice different prices next to each item depending on the QTY required.
If you require more than the QTY shown please call us to obtain a quote. Simply call us or visit our store to receive a Catalogue.

27.Q. Can you deliver my order?
A.
Yes, we offer FREE delivery within a 10km radius of Maroochydore CBD. This is for orders over $100.00.

28.Q. What if im just outside of this area?
A.
We still may deliver at a small cost. (To cover Petrol) Please call us to arrange this.
Other wise we use regular postage, this will be charged according to what you have ordered and how much it weights,
an invoice will be emailed to you with postage costs upon receiving your order.

29.Q. What kind of postage do you provide?
A.
We use regular postage on all of our orders. We can however arrange express post, courier,
delivery or another method of delivery  at your request. This will be charged accordingly.

30.Q. I am concerned about breakages in postage?
A.
Here at Bec's Craftmania we try to reduce the chances of any breakages during transit
as we carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap, we do everything possible from our end to ensure that your items will arrive safe at there destination.
In saying this we cannot guarantee outside influences beyond our control will not damage, drop, or break your order and we will not be held responsible for damaged items when they arrive at there destination.
As a peace of mind for you we have not had one breakage to date!

31.Q. What about returns or refunds?
A. 
We do not return or refund unless the items are found to be faulty. If you believe your item is faulty it must be returned for assessment to determine whether a exchange or refund is warranted. (We do not pay for postage) We don't exchange or refund if you change your mind.

32.Q. Can I pick up my order from you?

 
 

A. Yes, we are located in Shop 8 Corner Tallow Wood and Melaleuca Street Kuluin (Maroochydore) Please see our Contact Us to arrange a suitable time for collection.

33.Q. What kind of payment methods do you accept for orders?
A. We accept COD for free delivery only, Cash, Cheque, Money Order,Credit Card (VISA AND MASTER CARD ONLY) or Direct debit.
All orders must be paid in full before products will be posted.
Please see our order form for more information on banking details.
Payment must be made before your order is posted, we will not post any order that hasn't been paid in full unless
previously organised with management at Bec's Craftmania.
The only exception to this is if your are using our free delivery method where we accept Cash On Delivery.

34.Q. Does your costs include GST?
A.  Yes all prices are GST inclusive.
